Hello everyone, It is a pleasure to see you all here today, I am happy to present you this speech about honesty.  My name is Adefioye Itunuoluwa

Honesty is one of the greatest virtues Honesty is the quality or fact of being honest; uprightness and fairness. truthfulness, sincerity, or frankness. freedom from deceit or fraud. An honest behavior is regarded highly not only today but in all ages. When your behavior is free from deceit or cheat and you speak the truth, then you are honest. Honesty is generally based on trust and truthfulness, void of any kind of evil motive. A person who is honest is always honored by his fellow men and the society. This is why it is said ‘honesty is the best policy’.Being honest means being truthful in all the aspects of life. It is not only about not telling lies but is also about never hurting anyone, not involving in any bad habits, activities or behavior. Generally, honest persons never involve themselves in morally wrong activities. They live by ethical rules and morality. If you want to be honest, you should first behave well, be disciplined, and speak the truth. When a person is honest in all his actions, he gets trusted by everyone in his surroundings. Moreover, he enjoys lots of happiness and blessings as there is no evil in heart. But honesty can only be obtained through practice.Cheating and dishonesty can prevail for a while successfully but in the end, honesty is what triumphs. Honesty helps a person shine through their career, education, and all aspects of life. The consequences of dishonesty are often disastrous. It can ruin your reputation, moral values, and can wound the hearts of others cruelly. In career or business, honesty is the most important thing that clients and bosses lookout for. An honest relationship will lead to trust and will last longer. In life, there will be so many ups and downs. Everyone will face situations where your honesty could be put at stake or questioned. It is those times that you need to stay strong favoring honesty. Even if the mistake is yours, admit it. Even if your close ones have done a wrong, correct them. You should have the courage, to tell the truth, no matter what. This is what will portray you as an honest person in life. Seminal topic on personal hygiene by ADESHINA NAFISAT

Personal hygiene, including showering and wearing hair nets, is a necessary component of performing safe food preparation and handling operations. However, many foodborne outbreak investigations have identified the hands of food workers as the source of pathogens in the implicated food. During various daily activities at home and work, hands can quickly become contaminated. Some of these activities increase the risk of finger contamination by pathogens more than others, such as the use of toilet paper to clean up following a diarrheal episode, changing the diaper of a sick infant, blowing a nose, or touching raw food materials. The most convenient and efficient way of removing pathogens from hands is through handwashing. Important components of handwashing include potable water for rinsing, and soaps to loosen microbes from the skin, followed by drying. Handwashing should occur after any activity that soils hands and certainly before preparing, serving, or eating food. Antimicrobial soaps are only marginally more effective than plain soaps at any one wash, but constant use with these soaps results in a build-up of the antimicrobial compound on the skin. The time taken to wash hands and the degree of friction generated during lathering are more important elements for removing soil and microorganisms than water temperature. However, excessive washing and scrubbing can cause skin damage and infections. Drying hands with a towel removes pathogens first by friction during rubbing with the drying material, and then by wicking away the moisture into that material. Paper rather than cloth towels should be encouraged, although single-use cloth towels are present in the washrooms of higher class hotels and restaurants. Warm-air dryers remove moisture from hands by evaporation and any surface microorganisms loosened by washing and vigorously rubbing the hands together; however, these take too long for efficient use. The newer high-speed air blades can achieve dryness in 10–15 s without hand rubbing. An effective handwash should remove most transient and some resident microorganisms and is typically facilitated by the use of soaps, detergents, and antimicrobial compounds. However, hands are never sterile and can become recontaminated if they come into contact with a contaminated surface or infected person as soon as the washing process is over. The overall efficacy of hand hygiene depends on many factors, including soil types, antimicrobial soap strength, or alcohol gel composition. In the food industry, alcohol-based antiseptics should be combined with regular washing of hands and should not replace handwashing and drying, or use of fingernail brushes. Wipes containing alcohol and antimicrobial compounds, as well as moisturizers, wetting compounds, etc., are widely used by the public. These have been shown to be more effective than plain soap and water, and should be considered as a feasible, practical hand hygiene intervention for remote food-service situations or where water availability is limited. Unfortunately compliance for handwashing in health care settings, food operations, and in the general society is not good, and a targeted management plan for hand sanitation in specific food operations needs to be developed and enforced as a part of the corporate culture of the company.
